3D Studio

Berkshire Art Center’s 3D studio is located on the second floor of our main building, housing sunny space for classes in fiber, jewelry, printmaking, collage, and more (see upcoming 3D classes below!).

This large space is also the home of Summer Art Camps, Parent Nights Out (with Childcare), and Art Parties.

Open Studio

Berkshire Art Center now offers Open Studio in its 3D studio for printmaking, collage, bookmaking, and fiber art.

Printmaking Studio Includes:

• Basic tools for drypoint, monotype, linocut, and woodcut

• American French Tool Etching Press

• Gelli Plates

• Akua Inks (Watersoluble)

Artists must bring their own paper, plates, and specialized tools. Oil based media is NOT allowed in the studio. All inks must be water soluble.

Experience level: artists must have an intermediate knowledge level of their medium and be able to set the press independently.

Collage & Bookmaking Studios Include:

• Awls

• Paper Punches

• Bone folders

• Paper Cutters

• Access to collage ephemera

Fiber Studio * Coming Soon * Includes:

• Needle felting tools

• Sewing machines

• Knitting needles

Participants must be 14 years of age or older with experience.

Pricing

Collage, Bookmaking & Fiber Open Studio: $15 / 3 hours per person

Printmaking Open Studio: $25 / 3 hours per person
