IS183 Art School of the Berkshires proudly presents “T-Shirts; Also, Paintings”, an exhibit by Ian Myers at the Brothership Building Window for the month of May.

Ian is a painter currently living in North Adams, MA. He received his BFA at the Cooper Union School of Art. Of his work, Ian explains, “I want to tell a joke without saying anything. Not a visual pun, or an illustrated one, but through pictures that waver between the tedious and haphazard; shallow and deep. Painting is only ever discussed in approximations when it isn’t personified. I want them to be self-conscious, ready to deliver a speech if only they weren’t sweating so profusely.”
