In this workshop you will be creating works that focus on incorporating a variety of surface techniques on leather-hard clay to create a design that has texture, color, and different imagery. It will be a fun challenge to unify many techniques both traditional and experimental. Some of the techniques we will be using are mishima, sgraffito, slip transfer, and slip trailing. So come ready with some ideas and designs to create in clay!
