Mindful Writing

Writing can be a meditative exercise, a way to find ourselves through the process of self-expression. This class, open to writers and non-writers alike, will consist of writing prompts that lead to open-ended writing in any genre, on topics that we can all relate to. Focusing on memory, imagination and reflection through the process of writing will encourage us to let go of self-consciousness and strip the unnecessary. In the spirit of a guided meditation, these class sessions will lead to a more centered, aware, and positive sense of ourselves. Sharing our writing will be an optional part of our process.
