Fairies, Trolls, and Goblins!
Come explore the IS183 Enchanted Realm through drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, story and imagination! We'll collect items in the woods, build a habitat with characters, and create favorite fairy creatures using our human shapes as inspiration. Our projects might be tiny, table-top, or life-size, but all will celebrate techniques like handbuilding and cartooning, and will encourage lots of brainstorming as we invent characters and develop stories!**Early Drop-Off and Late Pick-Up are available to extend the day from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. $35/week for either morning or afternoon, $65/week for both.

Camps for 6 and 7 Year Olds
Camps for 6 and 7 year olds introduce projects, methods, and themes while taking advantage of increased fine-motor skills. We celebrate more intentional marks and the ability to write while encouraging lively imaginations! Collaborations, multi-step projects, and lots of outdoor experiences are highlights of the week.
What does the week look like?
Campers create individually and collaboratively with the guidance of a lead faculty artist and assistant. We incorporate stories and playtime throughout the day.
9:30am-12 noon: We start the day with a morning meeting and then get busy with hands-on exploration for our morning art session.
Mid-morning: Snack break
12:00-1:00pm: Lunch and outdoor play
1:00-3:15pm: Afternoon art session (on Tuesdays, a
visiting artist guides a clay-based activity)
3:30: Regular pick-up
The week concludes with
an art show, when campers get to share their experiences and creations with family and friends
