From Gallery to Landscape

Let’s combine art appreciation and creation! We will begin by observing and discussing the use of color and composition in a few selected artworks from the Clark Art Institute galleries. A demonstration and basic instruction on painting techniques will follow, preparing us to try our hand at our own painting. Using watercolor and portable materials, we will work outdoors on the museum campus. All levels welcome, from very beginner to experienced painter. Please note that students will need to walk on uneven terrain in an outdoor setting. All materials will be provided. Take 10% off this class if you finalize your registration 3 or more weeks before the start date. *Family Rate! for each adult and child pair (ages 10-18): $105 Members/ $125 Not Yet Members
